We let the kids pick out some plants to start a little garden in our backyard. John worked really hard and got the dirt all set up, and planted with the kids. Then we realized that we planted the whole thing in the shade. HA! We are definitely in the rookie category when it comes to gardening!!!

Its probably perfect that they are in the shade, they have a better chance of survival!! After a few failed years we've realized that full sun never applies to Vegas. I love the little garden! Makes me want to get busy (almost)
