So, I'm not going to lie. As I was growing up I didn't think Townsend, Montana was very special. I didn't think it was a pretty place either. It's not up in the mountains, but boy it is beautiful. I can see this now comparing it to the desert (which has it's own beauty.) Everything feels so green. One of our favorite things to do there is to take a drive. This time, we drove over to a little place that the explorers Lewis and Clark wrote about in their journals. I think it was called Crimson Bluffs, or something similar. It was a fun little walk near the river. Across the river is Townsend. Can you spot it? It is so small compared to Las Vegas.
(A field from another part of our drive.)
