John took the girls to the dance at the school again this year. I had fun getting them ready, but Madelyn refused makeup and only wanted her hair braided. (I snuck in a little curling iron action at the end.)
We headed outside before it the sunset to grab a few pictures.
True to Maddy form, she had to take a few crazies too.
John took the girls to a movie (America's funniest home videos on the couch) while they waited for dinner. John doesn't have crazy eyes, he just likes to give me a hard time in pictures!
The girls were served by Sam and I, and of course Scarlet had to be right on dad's lap while he tried to eat.

That is so sweet! I love that they had a daddy-daughter dance, and I think it is great that you and Sam served them dinner first. You really got some beautiful pictures of your girls in this post!
