The next two days of our vacation we spent at Fish Lake with the Knudson side of the family. The goal of the trip was to get some fishing in, since Grandpa Bruce and Samuel both like to fish. It was gorgeous at the lake, and perfect, if not a little windy weather.
The boys are off.....
John and his good friend Joe. He and two of his boys came along.
Meanwhile back at the cabins, the girls were finishing up breakfast and listening to stories told by Grandma. Grandma Alecia is the best storyteller! Then they went for a hike in the aspen trees while Scarlet and I slept the day away.
When we woke up, this was the view out of the cabin window....with a nice breeze blowing in.
Later in the afternoon, we were offered a ride on the boat. We graciously accepted!
The girls could have played for hours on the edge of that boat.
John, a fine captain was he.
Scarlet hated her little mate life jacket, but soon calmed down and fell asleep. When she woke up Grandma satisfied her with pretzels.
Later that night we ate some good food, and attempted to make smores. Just so you know, old marshmellows don't melt.
The fishing boys minus Joe and his two.
Grandpa playing with Scarlita.
Who doesn't love a dirty camping baby?
