Day 1 Family Trip to Utah

On our way up through southern Utah to a family reunion, we stopped in a little town to have lunch.  The grass was so soft next to where we parked that we had to stop and enjoy it for a few minutes before driving again.

   Later that night, after setting up our campsite, we drove into Manti.  We saw the billowing fires in mountains nearby.  There have been so many fires this year. 

A week or so later, we had a fire in Montana, across the river from town.

Scarlet came out to watch with me.
