the fancy party.

brooklyn had fancy nancy party. i wish i could hire someone to plan and execute my kids' birthday parties. it's fun yes, but i just get all stressed out (for no reason.) and one of these birthdays i am going to realize that i am not a cake decorator(maybe this is why i get stressed....the cake.) this is b's cake. you should have seen it before the fondant was put on. even john was embarrassed. i have never used fondant before, but it was fun....as long as you were using cookie cutters. the smoothing it out on the cake was kinda hard. and the cake was looking completely different in my head, but brooklyn liked the end product and that's all that matters.

on the menu was oreos with fancy blue frosting

and fancy ham and cheese sandwiches.

and of course, fancy orange slices.

it was a great fancy party. even with all of the unwarranted stress.
