was on Thursday, which was also my birthday, and a very important day for John. He graduated from Airmen Leadership School. Any of you who will never attend a military dinner, this is what it looks like. It was held at the Officer's Club on Nellis.

We finally made it to the table and sat down to have dinner.
The only reason I am posting the following shot is for posterity's sake. (Ya know just in case Brooklyn said in 20 years, I wonder what mom wore that night?) The chubby cheeks included almost ruled it out.

At the end of the night, all the guests and family were treated to a hardy rendition of the Air Force song, sung by all the graduates:

Down we dive, spouting our flame from under,

We live in fame or go down in flame. Hey!
