A view out at sunny Las Vegas from the MGM conference center.John says we are in need of some new pictures on the blog. (He is my most faithful reader! :) I guess I'll get back to reality and tell you all about what I did last week. My sister-in-law and I went to WPPI and had a blast!
It was amazing.
It was exhausting.
It was so worth it! I learned so much about photography, business skills, and was inspired by all of the awesome photographers that were there.
We got to see Audrey Woulard, Jessica Claire, and Tamara Lackey. And my personal favorites Jerry Ghionis and Elizabeth Messina, among many others.
On our first night there we got to attend a mock wedding where we watched some very famous photographers at work. Jerry Ghionis, Yervant, Joe Buissink, and Bambi Cantrell all took pictures that popped up on the screens so we could all see them. It turned out that the wedding was actually two photographers renewing their vows, so it was extra special.

Then, on our second night, we got to go to a concert by Blues Traveler. I didn't take my camera in, but it was way cool.
Can't wait until next year!

How fun...your really getting into this stuff. Good for you!
My husband is the one who tells me to start posting again too. It is nice that they are so supportive. Wow. Can't wait to hear more. I am sure that they showed you lots of photo things that you just have to have now! It's so great you live in Vegas now where they have events/conferences like that to go to!
