THE DAD: Can quote an amazing amount of movie lines. Takes funny pictures. Craiglist junkie. Likes old pickup trucks. A bit of a perfectionist.
THE MOM: Official LEGO mini-fig arm putteroner. Loves to travel, workout, read good books, and enjoy good food. Not a perfectionist.
THE KIDS: love to dance to music, watch movies, jump on the trampoline, hike Redrock, and play Rockband.
After: The fabric was originally bought for pillows....but has now made it's home on a rocker. Please don't tell it that is doesn't match my lovely blue walls (but it does match my bedspread!)
Love your re-upholstering! I can't believe what a difference it makes! So I'm wondering how big of a job the rocking chair was... would you say it was medium hard or super hard?
Sinika, I would say it was EASY! I just pinned the fabric (wrong side out) around the two shaped pads, took it off, then sewed. Then I put it on right side out and just stiched the bottom together. On the footstool I just had to take the legs off, and then staple the fabric on, then the legs back on. Yep, it was that easy.
I have ALWAYS wanted to reupholster a couch or chair. That looks great, Chelsea. I want to know how you did it. I even bought a staple gun a few years back to do it. I have a chair I can do it to. I'm inspired by you!!!

Super cute! Love the blue walls too!
I love stuff like that, I have an antique couch I'd like to recover.
You are so crafty! And motivated. I always think I'll do things like that and then I never do it.
I think it looks just fine with your walls! Very cute fabric.
You need to come and help me move forward on my house. I am just stuck!
