a re-upholstery adventure

My mom brought this little stool with her when she came to visit at Christmastime. I love the stool. It's sturdy, and very comfortable to sit on or use as a footstool. But, the fabric? It's so 80's-ish pastel. So I decided I would recover it.

Here are some tools that I used to do the job.

I took it apart and took the fabric off of it and used that as my pattern. Then I used my handy-dandy staple gun to put the new fabric on.

Here is the finished product:


Now if I could decided what color to paint my letters (or just leave them white?)
