Ok, so my life is wonderful and all, but sometimes I feel like complaining just a little. Venting is a better word for it. I woke up this morning at 8:30 and looked at the paper about the kids' orientation at school. Crap, it started at 8! So I rush the kids, pulling Sam out of bed, and we get to the school. Everything there goes great, except for leaving their bus # and school supplies at home in my rush to get going. Since we were in the car, I decided to go to Nellis to sign the kids up for soccer. When I get there I realize that I left the address to the youth center on my desk as well as the kids' physicals....which makes my 15 minute trip to Nellis completely pointless. On our way home I chat with my good friend Danielle for awhile (it's always great to talk to her!) so that improved my mood a little. When I pulled in the driveway our garage door was open and the door to go inside was open as well. In my haste to get going I didn't push the garage door button! Thankfully there were no intruders. I go downstairs to sit and eat lunch and Brooklyn screams that there is an ant on the floor. So I go over and there are about 15 ants roaming around a piece of cheese leftover from last night's dinner. (So last night, I didn't feel like sweeping after dinner and I left immediately to go to a craft group. The floor didn't get swept.) I stamp all the ants out with a paper towel and go to throw it away. Then I notice that there is a bazillion ants over on the floor by the snack cupboard! Too many to just sweep so I ran upstairs and got the bug spray and sprayed ants for the next ten minutes wherever I could find them. I can't tell where the ants came in from.....I guess I'm going to have to be super-clean mom now. I hate ants! Aaahh...all this before noon!! What a day. Oh, I just hate mornings like these. At least you were able to get the ants out. I hate them too!! We still have spiders here in TX, and it's not fun!! I hate waking up to one looking at me! LOL I love the video of the girls. Very cute and girly!! Spice Girls!!
I love Brooklyn dancing! That is so hilarious. Lanette would be in heaven with ants in the house she loves to pick them up and carry them around (those and rolly pollies)...spiders are a different story though! Man, mornings like that really suck!
