Here's Brooklyn in front of her school for the traditional pose. It was noon, so she was squinting from the sun again. Wait, the sun never stops shining here.....
Brooklyn was so excited all day and she had to wait to go to school until noon. When we got there, she didn't want to play, she wanted to get down to business and get in that classroom! Madelyn was along with all the business of school and she kept asking when her "baby bus" was going to come and when she was going to go to her "baby school." I told her that we could play school at home. When we got home from dropping off Brooklyn, it was past her naptime, so I told her that first at baby school we take naps! Later, we play. It worked and she took a long peaceful nap and I had a nice quiet afternoon. Until about 3:00 rolled around. The kids were so excited to show me their papers. Both had a great time and the day went well especially for Sam. Whew! We celebrated the successful day with store-bought cupcakes!
Which were very yummy.
Happy back to school to all of you out there....and especially happy fall...it's right around the corner!

yeah for a first day of school success. I love school, but find myself missing him during the day. Chase doesn't know what to do without his best friend with him.
