We've made it to our new home, in North Las Vegas. We love the house and we are pretty sure that we are going to love the area. The ward seems great....the weather, not so great....and we will have plenty to do and see over the next four years. Fighter jets are often heard up in the air as we are close to Nellis AFB. We are settling in nicely. We went to the temple with John's family, who came to help us move in and were a huge help, and we took some pictures for fun. Sam took the one of the flower and Brooklyn took the two below of Maren and John's parents.

Chillin' with rosy cheeks from the 100+ degree weather.

How exciting- a new place to figure out and enjoy!! You'll love the winters I bet?? Does this mean you're coming up for the reunion in August? You can crash at my house for a stop in between destinations if you ever need to!
Glad to see you guys made it Las Vegas safe and sound :) And I'm happy you are liking the ward and the area. We've had miserable heat here, too. Lots of 100 degree days, which is not normal for this area. I think it has been hot everywhere this summer. You'll get used to it and probably have an awesome tan when the summer is over :)
I'm so glad you made it! It was such a blast to see you. Lanette was talking about you guys for a few days after our lunch. Maybe it will be a short summer...we'll keep our fingers crossed!
