This is where we live in Vegas, about a mile south of where I took this picture (where you can see the houses starting.) From here it's a beautiful view of the strip and downtown skyline. (In a desert heat sort of way.....at least there are mountains!) Last week we were hot and bored so we decided to go to one of the water parks that was listed on the playgroup sheet. We ended up here, at an awesome park, that I think a friend told me about earlier. It was a dinosaur themed play area. It even had a large pond with ducks and a waterfall area outsided of the gated part. Very lush compared to the desert shown above!!!

I'm so glad you are finding places that you like. when we were there a few months ago we went to the Lied Children's Museum. The kids had fun, but it was a little pricey.
Looks like you guys had a great time. Hope you are settling in nicely. I have been meaning to call but keep getting caught up in the time difference. Like now, I am sure you don't want a call at 5:15 a.m. We need to catch up soon.
