The next thing was also bought in France at the Pont du Gard. They had this little stand of sorts set up and had all sorts of cheap pottery. It's been broken for a while...I even had the broken pieces in a little box.
This little frame I've had since I was 8. I think someone gave it to me as a baptism gift. The picture is of my mom and dad when they were married. It has been broken too for quite awhile!
I saved the picture and tosse the frame. :(
So just to illustrate my point, a year or so ago I was going through all sorts of cards that I have saved over the years. I found this little note from Kira, a good friend from college, that said "Happy Birthday Chelsnuts. I wrote this on a tiny piece of paper instead of a card so you would not be tempted to keep it!" Well, apparently I kept it!!! Ha, ha! I'm working on it Kira!

WOW...your funny! Good luck on parting from that nice stuff!
It's interesting to see what other people pack around. We're pack rats, maybe I'll finally throw some stuff away, too.
haha! Ahh. Good times. You were such a great roomie! I'm constantly trying to de-junk. I think it is okay to have a big box devoted to sentimental stuff - not everything should have to be practical...where's the fun in that?
