Back in the routine

My kids have been home now for about two weeks on their holiday break. I've enjoyed so much not having to wake them up early to catch the bus and just being with them all day long. However, their room is a mess and we're running out of food! I'm used to them being at school all day. I just feed them dinner and they don't have time to mess up their room. It makes me feel guilty as a mom because I am looking forward to them going back to school and they are still so young! They sure are learning a lot at school and I am grateful for the teachers there who are patient and teach them. Brooklyn said she misses her teachers and she thinks they must be wondering where she is since she hasn't been there for so long. I assured her that everyone else had been gone on the break too.
