I love these pictures of Scarlet.  They might be my favorite so far.  I put her in her coming home outfit this morning to see if it still fit.  It did!  She was so happy and the cloudy light (it's rainy today!) was so perfect that we did an impromptu photo shoot.  The poor little girl has had a rash on her face, but it is looking so much better, it's mostly just bumpy to the touch.  I only had to photoshop a few red splotches away.

Scarlet is at a fun age.  She is still cuddly and newborn, but is interested in people and will follow you across the room.  She smiles if she hears my voice.  When I come to get her in the crib she stops crying the instant that she sees me.  She still sleeps a lot...I'm going to enjoy that to the fullest.  I think the highlight of our day is making her smile.
