Yikes, John made a whole in the wall!

John is the wondering type.  Like, I wonder if there is any room under our stairs.  After lots of deliberating, he decided to take the plunge and check. 

 He was right.  There is lots of storage room under there!  (Even if it feels like a dungeon for someone who doesn't like tight spaces.)

More to come.  John has drywalled and put in shelves.  Now we are waiting to get the doorway done.  I'll put up a post of how it all turns out!
