The week of Christmas we had lots of rain. It drizzled for several days, and poured rain some of that time. It was a very nice break from the dry desert. The kids didn't have any schooling that week, so they got a bit stir crazy having to stay inside. One morning, they insisted on going to play in the rain. They lasted a good 30 minutes before they came in cold and wet. But hey, it's such a treat to play with an umbrella in the rain!
