A Christmas Vacation post

My parents came for Christmas this year.  It was a nice relaxing holiday filled with lots of free time and a  little bit of sightseeing.

Grandma told the kids a story about when she was 7  1/2 years old and her sister Carolyn was born on Christmas day.  The kids loved sitting there listening and asking questions.

We went to visit the Las Vegas temple.  My parents hadn't been down there yet and the weather was perfect.

Next we went to see the Christmas display at the Bellagio.  It didn't disappoint, although it was packed with people! 

 Sam figured out that there was a camera on the train.  If you look closely at the picture below, you can see all of the kids on the little screen.

 We then went outside to see the fountains.  The kids had never seen them before, and they were pretty excited.

We also spent a few evenings with Chad, Maureen and little Finley.  Finely is about the most adorable boy I've ever seen.
