It smells like dude in here.

Well, we are officially smack dab in the summer hotness here. Tonight, we all played in the backyard for a good two hours. That's unheard of around these parts. The kids hardly stay out there for more than 30 minutes, but the conditions were perfect. It was still warm enough to get wet from the pool/sprinklers and not get cold even though the sun had gone down.
I snapped this shot of Sam because he came outside to check on us. He is always the last one out to play (because he is being raised by electronics), but he finally joined us and had a ton of fun.

(And if you are wondering what the post title is all about, John and I flipped on the tele last night and 30 Rock was on. That show is hilarious! It gets both of us laughing. The title is a quote from the episode that happened to be on last night, and it has gotten me giggling to myself all day when I remembered it....)
