Not too bad. But I really didn't like the wallpaper. So we started tearing and spraying and ripping.....scraping.....my arms hurt just thinking about it.
It was so hard to take off this wallpaper that I started and stopped the project many times. I had a professional come look at it, but that route was going to be too expensive.
Just looking at these pictures I can smell it. The wallpaper removal spray, which didn't stink per se, but it didn't smell great.
Several months after this project was started, it was finally finished! After all the cleanup and a fresh coat of white paint, (that thankfully someone had left in our garage) this is what it looks like now:
glorious white walls.....
no wallpaper chips on the floor....
I probably would have just left it the way it was had I known that it would be so much work, but I sure am enjoying it being done. Whew!

I like the color of the tile, it makes it pop!
Dont you love the perks of been a homeowner? You get to do all the cool things in your home. Although, it is a pain to get it done. It look s great!
Yep! Wallpaper sucks. It looks sooooo much better.
It looks great! I love what you have done! No walkie talkie...sorry sam...I gotta go back and get my shoes! Yeah that was a day I'll never forget. Boston still talks about it!
