the party.

Well, the party was great. I was way too excited for it, and was bummed at the over all turn out. It was still fun to see friends and check out what every one else was wearing (is that so shallow?) I imagine it is about 1/50th of how much fun it would be to go to the Oscars....Here is John and I looking fabulous. I think we look exactly that same as last year at the party.

The catered dinner was yummy, but nothing spectacular. You would think in a fancy hotel they would serve something a tad more gourmet. We had pretty much a turkey dinner, with a few extras. Pictured below is my dessert. (John sure serves 'em up nice, eh?) You can't tell what it is but it was one of those yule logs....it was quite enjoyable.

Maybe I shouldn't post pictures of all the couples at our table, because the lighting was horrible and not at all suitable for picture taking. Ok, I'll post them. But only because you wanted to see everyone!

I'll have to say that what I enjoyed most about the night was the cool decorating in the hotel itself.
