Tonight is our unit Christmas party.....I love this time of year. It has sort of become a tradition to go out and buy a special outfit for this night. Our first Christmas party I was pregnant and I wore jeans. Jeans, I know! I felt way underdressed. That year I bought some dangly earrings and and a cute top, but I wore jeans. The next year me and a friend bought some daring heeled black boots and I had some cute gray pants and a black top. I can't remember what earrings I wore.....and then the final year in texas, I bought a new black dress that I still love. This year I bought the above pictured black heals with their saucy pink insoles, a new dress that I am so excited about and some new dangly earrings. I hardly every get to really dress up, ya know, so it's super fun. Of course I'm taking my camera so I will for sure post pictures. This year it's at the brand spankin' new casino called Aliante Station....haven't been there yet, but I'm sure it will be cool. By the way....has anyone got any tips for me in walking in heels? I don't think I've ever really figured it out due to weak ankles most of my adult life...maybe I just need to practice more....

Hey, love the new shoes...sassy! I've found that when wearing heels, put most of your weight on the back of the heels. Mainly on your heels! It will help even out the weight to your toes. So you don't feel like you're constantly on your toes. But, yes, do some practice runs in them!! Have fun!! Can't wait to see the pictures.
Just wear them everyday until the party and a for a couple of hours, so you dont' end up with blisters! Have fun! This years party for us is supposed to rock cause they made so much money at the rodeo for fundrasing! Nice hotel down town and all dressed up!
I'm a flats kinda girl, no tips here. But have fun, I love dressing up!
