The sweet sound of PLAY

While Madelyn was taking a nap this afternoon, Samuel and Brooklyn were playing pirates (yes, actually PLAYING) together. This doesn't happen as often as it should....what with everyone wanting to watch a movie, or play on the computer, or playstation. Making a mess, yes, but I don't care. As I was talking to a wise friend last night, she mentioned these years when your children are young and make big messes go by so fast and are over before you know it. I've personally made a goal to enjoy my days with my children and stop worrying so much about my to-do list. A lofty goal for me!
