It's been awhile...

Wow, I just looked at my blog and realized it has been about a week since I've posted! We've been busy getting ready for the holidays and playing basketball (and realizing the next morning that your body isn't 18 any more ) and cleaning and...I could go on and on. Well, last friday we were babysitting for our babysitting swap. Us and three other families each watch all the kids once a month and then the other three weeks we get a date night with the husband. It has been so great. These pictures were taken last friday. This is Eva and Madelyn. We finally got Eva to be o.k. and play with the toys on the floor and Madelyn wouldn't leave her alone! She wanted to feed her a bottle and cover her with her blankie. I think Madelyn thought she was a baby doll to take care of.

As a tear squeaks out of Eva's eye, Madelyn again tries to tell her something.

She was very fascinated with that pacifier thing...it seemed so familiar...

Also, last week Grandma Knudson sent us the Little People nativity set. Our kids have played with it every day! We think it is great because it will help them remember what Christmas is really about. Thank you Grandma!
