Over the break...

We had a great thanksgiving break this year. It was fun to sleep in and take a rest from our daily routine. This is what we did:

We all made turkey crowns and squawked around the living room for a few minutes. (OK, I'm lying. ) However, Sam modeled his cool turkey crown for me and demonstrated to exactness the ways of a turkey.

My brother-in-law James (a.k.a. Ranger James) came for a visit. It was great to have him and the kids were having so much fun they could hardly leave him alone.

Brooklyn and I went and got our hair done together at a beauty school here in SA.

She had two ladies bumbling in Spanish all around her and so neither of us knew how her hair was going to turn out. She was a little scared at first.....

But it turned out gorgeous!

(I got blond highlights, which aren't worthy of putting up a picture because it would melt in comparison to Brooklyn's lovely golden color.)

Later that day, we put up the Christmas decorations.

Sam and James got plenty of wrestle time in.....

Madelyn mostly just ate snacks,

and climbed into things with her baby doll.
