Week with the McMillans

Our dear friends let us stay with them for a whole week again this summer!  Sam attended a computer programming camp at the University of Utah, and thus missed a lot of the fun things we did during the day.  We sure packed a bunch of stuff in!  Brooklyn and Scarlet went up to Grandma Hinman's house and John flew back to Las Vegas.  So it was just me, Sam and Madelyn.  A vacation from usually having 4 kids to worry about.  Here are some of our adventures during the week:

 

 A visit to a cool park....

A visit to a (slightly strange) sculpture park in downtown Salt Lake City...I should have blogged about this sooner, because now I can't remember the names of everything!

 Soccer in the backyard.  The World Cup was happening at this time, so Ben and Maddy had to practice their moves.

 BYU soccer game and BYU Creamery ice cream.  Always delicious!

 Natural History Museum on the U of U campus.  Very cool place!

 We packed a lunch and ate it out on the deck.  Gorgeous weather!

 I think Steph and I had just as much fun as the kids playing with the earthquake machine.
