Early december

Well, it's been a busy month so far. December is filled with lots of good things....parties, sweets, presents.  We've had a few sickies here and there, but overall everyone is doing great this month.  The kids got their awards for the first quarter. No picture of Sam.

 

We put up the Christmas decorations.  Scarlet looooved putting the ornaments on the tree.  The girls did the tree all by themselves.  I am totally ok with that!  I let go of my "perfect tree visualizations" and just let them go at it.

 It's taken awhile to get over the aftermath of pulling out the decorations.  There are still bins sitting by the garage door to be taken out. 

 It has been super cold, and Scarlet won't wear a real winter jacket.  A sweatshirt and a hat is all I could get her to wear.

 Brooklyn made the gingerbread house this year.

 Scarlet has been carrying around anything like a baby.  She has a strong little mommy intuition.

The tree late at night when the house was quiet.  I love those moments.
