Madelyn and her class invited all the mothers for an afternoon. They performed several songs and then they each read something special about their moms. It was a great afternoon!
She sat on my lap the whole time, and it was fun to just focus on her. I told her that she needed to brush her teeth because her breath was a little stinky, (isn't that what mom's are supposed to do?) and she said, "Well Mom, so is yours." 7 year olds always tell it like it is.

After their program was over, some of the moms and kids took a gift to all of the specialists because it was also teacher appreciation week. Madelyn had so much fun!
