The day after we arrived in L.A. we headed down south to San Diego. We left Sam and Brook with their cousins (this was sooo great) and took Maddy and Scarlet with us. Isn't it funny how when you can leave part of your brood somewhere it just feels so free and wonderful! On our way down we stopped in Huntington Beach and ate at Chronic Tacos thanks to a recommendation from my brother. Man, he was right, those tacos were dang good. Here....a picture of my potato taco. Yum. We also tried the fish tacos and there were pretty good, but not the best we've ever had. I think the tacos in California are devine. (Maybe even better than Texas tacos, but don't tell anyone I ever said that. Plus, it's been about 5 years since I've had a taco from Texas, so maybe I've just forgotten.)
Madelyn and Scarlet enjoyed quesadillas with chips and salsa.
We enjoyed the sunny warm weather on our walk back to the car. The girls were full of energy and kisses for daddy....and there were lots of fun painted walls to look at. Although, who would want to look at that when the ocean is just two blocks away! We should have gone and visited it this day....the day we ended up going it was raining.
