The North Las Vegas Stake has the best pioneer celebration. Lots of carnival stuff, the best scones ever, and awesome fireworks when it gets dark. We didn't go last year because Scarlet was so little, so we decided to attempt it this year. It was blazing hot. Like, sweat was dripping off your eyebrows and at the same time your ears were burning. I did take two pictures that I really liked.
First one up is the sisters. The two middle children. The friendship and enemy girls.....wait there is a word for it...frenemies. They get along so well, but there are plenty of tears thrown in. Maddy kind of got left out here because Brooklyn went to run around with some girls her age. That's life.
And one last one......I have to throw in a token couple self portrait every now and again. John was grumpier than the kids about the heat. (oops, sorry John, did I really just write that? :)
