One night, I was at Fresh N' Easy. I love checking out all of the interesting foods in their international section. I noticed some British candy bars. I decided right then and there that we were going to have a taste test. (Hail to Doc Martin, our favorite British comedy/sitcom) Here are our reviews:
Crunchie "Milk Chocolate with Golden Honeycombed Centre"
Good. Surprising. Super sweet.
Flake "The crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate"
Definitely crumbly. Weird flakey texture. Not our favorite.
Yorkie "Chunky milk chocolate"
Tasted like regular old milk chocolate. However, I like the name of this one the best.
Toffee Crisp "Crispy Crunch, Chewy Munch!"
Our favorite. Crispy and chewy. Yummy.
Aero "Feel the bubbles"
Minty. Light airy texture inside. Not your ordinary candy bar.
The packaging had cool Arabic on it as well, and they all said "Best before end" instead of "best by date" like everything does here in the states.

Fun idea!
Yum. I love a good international candy taste test. Our favorite from England (way back in the day) were the Cadbury buttons. We bought them in every train station.
Agh. This totally reminds me why you were such a great roomie. It's like watching the food bake in the oven....
Umm. That is supposed to say ahh.
We have all of these candy bars over here in Germany!!! They are soo good!
