On the fourth of July, we went up in the mountains for a picnic and fishing.
(The Knudson boys had a fishing trip up to Strawberry Reservoir in Utah.
You can those pictures here. My camera didn't go along.)
This is what our car looked like when we got there.
John's old shorts split. It was pretty funny, because he didn't know that it had happened.
The cows kept getting closer and closer to us while we were eating lunch. Grandma Hinman grew up on a dairy farm, so she assured us that they were just curious. The kids thought it was pretty weird.
some beautiful montana country
We passed this canola field on the way home. I had to stop to take pictures, but got attacked by mosquitos as soon as I stepped outside the car. Thankfully they didn't make an appearance in the photos.
Later that night, we lit fireworks in the driveway. They were the best ones yet! It was also fun to watch John and Grandpa light the fireworks and then RUN!
