My body must have a tendency towards fainting during pregnancy.
This time I was thankfully with a friend and didn't hit anything but the carpeted floor. Thus the lovely carpet burn on my cheekbone and lower cheek. This picture was actually taken about 5 days after the incident, so the swelling and bruising around the eye was gone and the wound was looking pretty good. I had a headache for a few days, and was lucky enough to have to explain it to several strangers who asked what in the world had happened. The scab is now off and the area is a lovely shade of pink. It now resembles a bad makeup job instead of a bad carpet burn in a weird place.
Just for fun.....I added some dark streaks under my eyes to bring out the toughness.

hahahaha. this story made me laugh so hard that night! but at the same time i felt so bad for you! pregnancy and long outings just don't mix for me either. you are soooo cute chelsea! love love love it! way to laugh at the joys of prgnancy!!! :):)

Love it. I like how you preserved a sense of mystery as to the actual details of the event :) My lips are sealed as well. Ha ha.
Isn't that how all the characters in movies find out their pregnant? (glad you're okay!)
