Perfume

Isn't it funny how scent can go along with memories? Going through some more stuff....I found all of our old perfume and cologne. I took pictures of them because it is my way of coping with throwing them in the trash. I have an emotional attachment to them! My current favorite is Clinique happy. I've used this for quite awhile.

I used this when I was in college. The smell reminds me of working at my Uncle Merlin's optometry office.

I got these perfumes in France when I was in High School. (That means I have been hanging on to them for at least 12 years.) When I smell these, it reminds me of the place where I got them in southern France.

John's collection. Dark green one is Eddie Bauer. A classic scent that brings me back to when we first met and when we were first married. He doesn't wear it anymore. The Kenneth Cole cologne I bought for him a few years ago. He doesn't like it, so he doesn't wear it. I think it smells divine.

I love that about smells. I smell things every once in a while that remind me of visiting Finland (usually bread and coffee) or when my little brother, Mikey was born (diapers and lotion?) I love that it takes you right back to a time and place. Kind of like some music does.
