WPPI

Where to begin? WPPI was awesome this year. A conference full of amazingly talented people, inspiration, motivation, and fun. I attended with my sis-in-law agian. It wouldn't be quite as fun not going with anyone. I didn't take my camera all week except for the last day. There was one day in particular that I wished I would have taken it. I missed capturing Jerry Ghionis two feet in front of me signing someone's bottom (but really, what would I have done with that picture anyways?) and later in the day we went to a class that had a live bride and groom that I could have practiced on. I was taught by some awesome photographers. Here are some of my favorites that I went to this year:

Jackie Palmer and Andrew Jenkins

Jim Garner

Blair Phillips

Marcus Bell - possibly my favorite...

I also made it onto another photographers blog! Before you get too excited, check out the link below, play the video, then pause it on second 22. Oh yeah....that's me!;) (you know, on the very left! Didn't you see me?)

At the trade show, they have little mini classes that some photographers put on, and this happened to be one of those. I have been following Bobbi & Mike's blog for quite a while and it was a treat to see them in person.

For our last class they had several photographers come and present a 5 min blurb of their best advice. Just for fun, these were the best dressed out of all of them:

Vicky Taufer

David Jay

Ahh...I can't wait until next year!

I checked out your appearance in the video, and it didn't look as if you were singing. Didn't you want their mom to have a happy birthday?!? JK. It sounds like such a fun week. Now I am totally hoping that you'll be available for my birth, because you have many amazing skills with your camera. :)

Chelsea, It was so good to see you on Thursday! I miss hanging out with you. We should really get together. And you are incredibly talented! When I grow up I really want to be like you! :)
